Superintendent's Message

Superintendent's Message for 2020-2021 School Year
Be A Champion

Ridgerunner Nation:

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year. I am honored and humbled to be your Superintendent of Schools. I assure you that I appreciate the unique opportunity and the enormous responsibility that goes with the job.

I deeply believe in a quality and comprehensive education for all students. Grove is known not only for its academic excellence and extracurricular programs, but also for the positive and healthy relationships between staff and students. I take very seriously that you have entrusted the young people of this community to our care and expect our fine staff to give their best day in and day out.

Last year will go down as one of the toughest years in the history of public education. The COVID virus changed the landscape of public education across the nation. We learned from the many challenges of last year how to provide a digital learning platform when closures were warranted as well as creative ways to keep our doors open. I anticipate similar challenges this year and we will do our best to use a common sense approach to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.

Again, it is an honor to serve as your Superintendent. If you have any questions or comments about anything, please don’t hesitate to email me at or call my office at (918) 786-3003. I encourage you to visit our website often for upcoming events and information.

Yours in education,

Pat Dodson
