We are so excited to be hosting three FREE Residential STEM Summer Camps at the University of Oklahoma – Norman campus this summer for rising 8th – 11th grade students! These summer camp topics include Architecture, Geology and Meteorology. Information and applications can be found at youth.ou.edu. The GHS Varsity Robotics Team, FRC Team 3160 FROG (FIRST Robotics Organization of Grove), will compete in the Oklahoma Regional at Firelake Arena in Shawnee, OK today and tomorrow (March 10 & 11). Thank you for your patience this afternoon as our west campuses ran a state mandated shelter in place drill at the end of our school day. We run drills throughout different times of the day to ensure our staff and students understand expectations no matter when an incident takes place. Shelter in place could be a response to a medical emergency, discipline issue, or anytime where kids should stay in their classrooms. This procedure is usually done to protect a student or staff members privacy. It is not used in situations where there is a direct threat to the school. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to put the safety of our students and staff first. #ridgerunnernation
